Job DescriptionProcess specialist for all Software & Connecting modules within the plant (Assembly), to ensure self-competency is well developed in line with the skills required for to handle different types of controllers-software platforms (ASI-VB, PLC-Mitsubishi, PLC-Beckhoff, ect) and various connecting modules (Servo drives, conveyor modules, IAI, Axial controllers).Develop self-competency in Software & Automation and expand know-how beyond the existing technology available within plant. To develop expertise, involve in implementations and develop documents in relevance to know-how, procedures as well as continuous training for technicians and module engineers.Lead and drive continuous improvement specifically focusing on the scope of software & connecting modules within the plant. Ensure stability of software implementation & automation implementation within the plant with continuous analytics.Involvement in processes involving Software & connecting modules with aim to reduce downtime & FOR, improve repeatability and consistency in production mode. This includes a vast coverage such as Pointer Pressing, Automatic Screwing, TPA, Hybrid Bonding, Gluing, VCU Cluster lines and all assembly stations. Solve the technical problems related to the robotic assembly processes. In meantime also developing troubleshooting guidelines, OCAP and training of process know-how to Module Engineer covering the scope of Software & Connecting modules.Role-play of plant representative for Opcon plus & Nexeed MES (as part of MES@ME CN platform) To lead the industrialization and continuous improvements of Beckhoff Opcon plus machines. Lead TEF1 for the implementation which focuses on preventive, instead of reactive. To define key standardization of software implementation (PLC + ASI-VB).Collaborate with ME-CN on the introduction of new process technology prior deploy in production; and continue obtaining good exchange of experiences and technical knowhow with MFT as well as technical team from other Bosch plant.Support in assessing the capability and competency of the suppliers, to develop buyoff / qualification criteria for standard processes, key in defining requirements for Software & connecting modules implementations.Explore the possibility of enhancing competency in Nexeed MES & Data Analytics to lead team in terms of Industry I4.0 as future role expansion.Any other duties assigned by immediate superior from time to time.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electronic/Mechatronic EngineeringPreferable 3- 5 year working experiences in related field.Practical experience in assembly process in terms of: Equipment setup, Process Development, TPM, Problem Solving SkillHaving professional competence in Robotics & Automation (Software skills)Adequate knowledge in PFMEA and Control PlanKnowledge in box-build assembly processesFluent in English & Malay (written and oral) and willing to travel internationallyAdditional InformationLeave Entitlement e.g: Annual Leave, Medical Leave and etcCompany Insurances and etc
