Utility Plan Review. Review Wastewater Capacity Reservation (WCR) letters containing accurate impact fees owed in compliance with the Code of Ordinances and State Laws and Regulations. Provide critical customer service needs. Provide accurate and detailed feedback to customers regarding the status of their applications. Responsibilities: Enters approval or rejection and plan review notes in the building code database. Reviews corrected resubmittals. Interfaces with other technical disciplines and departments for code, ordinance and regulation enforcement and plan review processes. Provides data entry support for the Impact Fee Administration and Taps and Meters Groups. Answers questions from the public and internal staff by phone and in person. Communicates and assists customers with the application process. Performs other duties as assignedQualifications and Requirements:Associate's degree, such as Building Inspection, or the equivalent.May require a valid Texas driver's license and compliance with the City of Houston's policy on driving Two years of skilled, journey level experience in building trades, inspection or plan examining in the area of analysis to be performed are required.
