Performance Marketing Senior Executive, Gateshead

We are able to offer a competitive basic salary of up to £33,000 along with hybrid working from the heart of our marketing office, based in Gateshead.   

As our Perforomance Marketing Executive you will be responsible for managing, monitoring and optimising our PPC campaigns as well as managing relationships with our Third Party partners (e.g. Autotrader, Heycar, Carwow and more). You’ll work closely with our partners and agencies as well as internal teams to monitor and analyse performance and use data to identify business challenges, as well as opportunities.  

This role connects our third party partners to our dealerships so you will quickly develop a deep understanding of our customer journeys, sales process and internal systems. 

Relationships are key in this role so we are looking for a real people-person, someone who isn’t afraid of having challenging conversations and is passionate about driving success. 

This role is ideal for someone with  hands-on experience managing PPC campaigns, who is pro-active and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.   

Responsibilities 

Develop and implement paid search strategies that align with business objectives  Monitor and report on campaign progress and performance across Google ads and Microsoft ads.   Facilitate PPC and 3rd party relationships including weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance calls and meetings  Maintain internal relationships with internet sales teams and teams within the marketing department   Reporting on performance and using data to provide actionable insights (from external 3rd party data sources, showroom, internet sales team, dealership HUB’s and GA4) to maximize opportunities to improve conversion from lead to sale.  Recognising areas of concern within reporting and offering actionable changes   Regularly presenting to the wider business on performance, opportunities, and insight   Stakeholder management including a weekly feedback session around performance   Driving enquiries/optimizing ROI through our PPC campaigns and utilizing opportunities to develop and grow within partnerships to feed into our business objectives and vision  Regularly liaising with dealerships to communicate changes and gain feedback   Working with our agencies and 3rd parties to improve their customer journeys and drive enquiries into the business via briefing changes into external dev teams   Maintaining and facilitating the creation and amendment of feeds and APIs to and from the business (stock/images/leads/sales data) via Asana briefs   Facilitating the set up of new dealerships and acquisitions via retail team and 3rd parties   Keeping up to date with market trends within the motor industry to anticipate future trends to adapt to change  Advising senior stakeholders on recent search trends and market trends via 3rd party insight and performance to make data-led decisions   Working with AOS to optimise our images and backgrounds on the web via new devices and API integration 

Skills required

Hands-on experience managing campaigns in Google ads & Bing ads. And ideally (though not essential) has experience using SA360.   Proficiency in related platforms GA4, Google Merchant Centre.  Experience in handling large budgets and optimising spend to achieve business goals.  Ability to gather performance data and insights and prepare a report on them in a useful actionable format.  Strong analytical skills with experience in using Excel for reporting and analysis (e.g. pivot tables and VLOOKUPs). And ideally (though not essential) has experience with reporting platforms such as Looker studio.  High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.   Experience in A/B testing and data-driven optimisations.   Good understanding of other digital marketing channels (SEO, display and paid social).
