As Senior People & Culture Business Partner (PCBP) for Gilbarco, you will provide HR leadership and expertise to business leaders and line managers on the people-related matters affecting their business. You will lead the labor and employee relations activity for the Greensboro, NC, manufacturing facility. You will also lead various HR activities, including organization and leadership development, organizational design, change management, compensation administration, talent acquisition, and employee and labor relations.
\nThis position will be onsite out of Gilbarco Veeder-Root’s (the “Company”) corporate headquarters in Greensboro, NC, supporting the Operations function.
\nKey Responsibilities
\n\nAct as a strategic business partner to understand organizational goals and drive key HR strategies, building relationships with leadership and stakeholders.\nProvide coaching on talent management, succession planning, and labor relations, including negotiation and administration of collective bargaining agreements.\nLead and administer all activities related to grievance processes and represent the company in grievance hearings and arbitrations.\nEnsure compliance with company policies and legal requirements while monitoring HR Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and maintaining employee data security.\n\n
Background and Skill
\n\nBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.\nAt least 5+ years progressive HR generalist business partner. \nAt least 2+ years of union/labor relations experience. \nAt least 2 years of experience with MS Office Suite, HRIS, Payroll, and ATS systems.\nExperience working independently in a highly decentralized, process-oriented, and hands-on organization with the ability to resourcefully innovate and adapt in a rapidly changing, fast-paced, and highly complex environment.\nAbility to manage multiple workstreams and execute flawlessly with great attention to detail.\nStrong written/oral communication, effective presentation and facilitation, conflict resolution, and influence skills.\nStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to implement the best solutions.\nDemonstrated process orientation skills and experience with Six Sigma and/or Lean Manufacturing.\nSHRM-CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR certification a plus.\nManufacturing environment preferred. \n\n#LI-AB1 #LI-Onsite
