We currently have an exciting opening for a Sr. Specialist Payroll Tax. Role Summary: We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Payroll Tax Specialist to join Radial. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to our tax strategy and compliance. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate payroll tax compliance, providing strategic tax planning, and managing payroll tax risks. Responsibilities: + Review the preparation of federal, state, and local payroll Tax Returns and ensure their timely and accurate submission by 3rd Party Vendor. + Assist with tax planning and research, including analyzing current and proposed tax legislation to identify potential impacts on the organization. + Quarterly review of all Federal and State Payroll Accounts to ensure proper payments and filings + Monitor all tax notices for Federal, State, Local, and Jurisdictional for proper follow up and resolution from ADP. Call applicable agencies to ensure timely resolution when applicable. + Registering for any new State or Local registration for SIT and SUI. Working directly with agencies and 3rd Party Payroll Tax company for any updates to SUI Taxes. + Reviews with Finance VP for any areas of risk of Exposure or Liens related to Payroll Tax + Support tax audits and inquiries by governmental authorities, including preparing responses and defending filing positions. + Develop and implement strategies for minimizing the organization's payroll tax liabilities. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure tax considerations are appropriately addressed in business decisions. + Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations and ensure the organization's compliance. Qualifications: + BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience in Payroll Tax. + Minimum of 7+ years of experience in tax. + Extensive knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations and reporting requirements. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret tax laws and regulations. + Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. + Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate complex tax issues to non-tax professionals. + High level of integrity and professionalism, with the ability to handle confidential information appropriately. Travel: + This position is remote. + Travel is not required.
