Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Package Manager – Relocations to join our team! In this role you will for the effective and timely delivery of the Relocations package, ensuring that enabling works, demolition works, groundworks, and utilities are carried out smoothly across all phases of the project.
This position requires strong leadership, coordination skills, and experience in managing complex packages while working with multiple teams and stakeholders. The Senior Package Manager will be key to ensuring that project objectives are met, timelines are adhered to, and risks are effectively mitigated.
What You'll Be Doing;
Manage the full lifecycle of the Relocations package, including planning, execution, and final delivery.Ensure the successful execution of enabling works, demolition works, groundworks, and utility works as per the project schedule.Align all activities with the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), coordinating across various teams to maintain adherence to timelines.Work closely with the Logistics Team and Bulk Earthworks Team to ensure effective integration, while maintaining separate resource allocation for each package.Ensure clear communication and coordination between relocation teams, minimizing conflicts and delays.Coordinate with DP, PMC, and CS teams to ensure that all deliverables are met and aligned with project goals.Manage all external and internal stakeholder communication for the Relocations package.Deliver regular updates to senior leadership, ensuring that the package progresses according to schedule and addressing any challenges as they arise.Monitor and ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements throughout the relocations package.Proactively identify potential risks and issues that may arise within the relocations package and formulate mitigation plans.Ensure the package stays on track by addressing obstacles swiftly and effectively.Oversee the management of resources for enabling works, demolition, and groundworks while ensuring the integration of resources with other teams is properly managed.Coordinate and optimize resource allocation, ensuring no overlap or conflicts with the Logistics and Bulk Earthworks teams.Ensure that all works are being delivered efficiently and within the allocated budget.Ensure that all works meet the required quality standards and specifications.Coordinate with QA/QC teams to ensure proper quality checks are performed, and corrective actions are implemented when necessary.Regularly review and approve work completion certificates, ensuring compliance with contractual and technical requirements.Lead safety and environmental efforts within the Relocations package, ensuring compliance with company policies and local regulations.Actively monitor site safety performance and resolve any potential hazards to ensure a safe working environment for all team membersPrepare detailed progress reports, status updates, and presentations for senior leadership and stakeholders.Ensure proper documentation of all works, including permits, approvals, and work orders, in compliance with project requirements.What Required Skills You'll Bring;
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.Minimum 20 years of experience in project management, specifically within infrastructure, relocation, or large-scale demolition projects.Proven experience managing complex multi-disciplinary packages, especially related to enabling works, demolition, groundworks, and utilities.Previous experience working with DP, PMC, and CS teams and delivering on project objectives and timelines.Strong leadership and project management skills.Knowledge of industry standards, construction methods, and project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).Experience with resource planning and team coordination in parallel package delivery.Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.Ability to handle multi-faceted projects under tight deadlines.Prior experience specifically managing relocations packages, demolition works, or enabling works in large-scale infrastructure or airport projects.Proven ability to work across various functions such as Logistics, Bulk Earthworks, and other delivery teams while managing parallel package execution.Expertise in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks associated with demolition, groundworks, and utility projects.Parsons equally employs representation at all job levels no matter the race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability or genetic information.We truly invest and care about our employee’s wellbeing and provide endless growth opportunities as the sky is the limit, so aim for the stars!
