**About the Role**
The **Senior Operations Manager – Airports, Stations, and Strategic Growth Verticals** will play a pivotal role within the **French Rider Operations team**, focusing on optimizing and growing Uber’s presence in key transportation hubs and other high-traffic venues across France. Airports and stations represent critical points of interaction for riders, and this role will ensure Uber offers a seamless, reliable, and efficient service tailored to the unique challenges of these environments. You will lead cross-functional initiatives, manage day-to-day operations, and collaborate with diverse teams to create innovative solutions that enhance the rider experience.
**What the Candidate Will Do:**
- **Strategic Growth Management**: Develop and execute a comprehensive growth strategy for airports and stations in France, aligning with Uber’s broader Rider Ops goals. Identify, evaluate, and prioritize growth opportunities, securing cross-functional buy-in and resources to drive execution.
- **Operations Oversight:** Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring service reliability and addressing emerging issues proactively. Optimize the configuration of transportation hubs and other venues within internal systems to enhance user and driver experiences.
- **Cross-Functional Leadership**: Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Central Operations, Business Development, and Product, to deliver impactful initiatives. Coach and support team members to ensure successful execution within your domain.
- **Data-Driven Decision Making**: Analyze operational and commercial performance metrics to uncover insights and develop actionable recommendations. Perform root-cause analyses to address operational challenges, leveraging complex data modeling and qualitative insights.
- **Stakeholder Engagement**: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment on strategic goals and initiatives. Communicate progress and plans effectively, delivering clear and impactful presentations to various audiences.
**What the Candidate Will Need / Basic Qualifications:**
- 5+ years of experience in operations, consulting, product management, business development, or a related field.
- Strong project management skills, with experience managing initiatives from conception to execution.
- Proven ability to manage internal and external stakeholder relationships and influence decision-making across functions.
- Excellent communication skills in French and English (written and spoken).
**Preferred Qualifications / Bonus Points:**
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities.
- Proficiency in analytical tools such as SQL, Excel, and Tableau; ability to perform complex data analysis.
