Your Opportunity: We are seeking a Senior OpenText Exstream Dialogue Software Developer to join our team in our Fort Worth, Texas location to focus on our Taylor Communications SCS division. This critical position will play a key role in designing, modifying, developing, and implementing software programming applications.

Your Responsibilities:

Design & develop Exstream templatesTesting, maintaining, supporting, and documenting templates and document applicationsFluent with document design and Exstream Admin functionsEnd to end delivery and deployment of Application PackagesReview code changes for other Exstream developers and approve them for production releasePerforms testing for developed applicationsLearn and maintain legacy systems and custom applicationsAssist with creating standards and architecting new client solutions in ExstreamAssure that all work performed on projects adheres to standardsClearly communicate verbally and in written form – articulating complex thoughts and ideas in small or large group settingsAble to work well in a collaborative team environment with various personalitiesWork with limited direction on assignmentsStays current with software and industry trendsWork closely with Customer Service and Production to assist with print issuesEnsures the operating efficiency of existing application systems. Maintains records for the documentation of systems development and revisionsMentorship of junior developers

You Must Have:

7+ years’ experience object-oriented design/development experience using general purpose languages7+ years’ experience utilizing OpenText Exstream Composition software, including design, development and implementation of technical solutions utilizing the toolBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or MISAbility to handle and keep track of a multitude of assignments at one timeAttention to detail, excellent organization skills and a sense of urgencyExcellent verbal and written communication skillsSolid analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skillsKeen eye for Quality and processEnjoys working as part of a teamExpertise with Windows development environmentProven PDF/Postscript Technology Experience (Parsing, Generating, Manipulating)Software design patternsGood interpersonal skillsProactive Team Member

We Would Also Prefer:

Experience utilizing XML input and output formatsFamiliarity with one or more programming languages and SQL ServerPrevious print and mail experienceKnowledge of other composition tools a plus (Quadient, Compart, Solimar, etc.)Familiarity with Agile development process
