Abiomed is seeking a Senior Offer Development Analyst II. This role plays a crucial part in Abiomed's US commercial strategy, developing and implementing offers for customers. The Senior Analyst II will interact closely with Sales, Contracting, Customer Service, Finance, Marketing, and other partners such as Legal, Health Care Compliance, Government Compliance, etc. to put together the most appropriate offers to serve our customers and uphold our strategies. They will focus on strategic customers in addition to implementing a narrower set of options for less strategic customers. They will support the development of business processes, tools, and training materials. They will also be responsible for training, coaching, mentoring, and developing Quoting Analysts on internal processes/strategies and the use of analytical tools.

Key Responsibilities:Develop detailed offers using product knowledge, business insights, and professional judgment while adhering to contracting strategies and pricing matricesDevelop meticulous, error-proof offers and analysis, maintaining a high attention to detail, while still seeing the emerging patterns, trends and insights across offers.Display a high degree of ownership for the offer and its fit with our strategic and financial objectives. Coordinate review of requests that require further approval.Maintain appropriate documentation in accordance with SOX 404 Requirements.Identify areas for improvement within systems, processes, and interactions. Surface and provide recommendations regularly to management to support our objective for continuous improvement.Represent Offer Development on cross-functional teams designing and implementing process and system improvements.Primary trainer regarding new business processes, strategies, tools, and new product introductions for analyst team.Support development and maintenance of tools for quoting and price letter generation.Manage the process of price letter generation and the implementation of price changes and contract compliance requirements.Ensure that all changes are accurately recorded, and that information is updated in a timely manner.Complete all offer elements before the due date and provide any required information to the contracting and customer service teams for agreement implementation.Coach and mentor developing Quoting Analysts to enhance their abilities and improve the quality of their work.Direct workflow across Quoting Analysts to manage bandwidth and ensure service levels and quality objectives are met.Drive adherence to protocols and business rules while still respecting individual customer needs.Identify and share market customer insights with pricing strategy team to advise new pricing strategies or modifications as appropriate.Serve as SME for business partners.

Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
