The Networking Application Engineering team at NVIDIA is looking for a motivated, experienced Senior System Network Hardware Engineer to join us in supporting groundbreaking network technologies. In this role, you will have a significant impact on both our business and the technology ecosystem, working closely with customers and R&D teams to shape the future of supercomputing and networking.
What you'll be doing:
Support large-scale cloud providers globally in adopting our latest network technology.
Drive innovation for new supercomputer technologies and data center solutions.
Understand customer needs and build strong, trusted relationships with key stakeholders.
Contribute to product definition and create impactful customer-facing collateral.
Collaborate with R&D teams to develop features and improve products tailored to customer needs.
Lead task forces to resolve complex customer issues and drive the resolution of highly visible challenges.
Provide constructive feedback to engineering teams regarding product requirements and improvements.
What we need to see:
B.Sc./M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
8+ years of experience in hardware/firmware development.
Practical experience in software or firmware development.
Strong background in networking, including NICs, switches, and Ethernet protocols.
Excellent communication skills, both in English and in customer-facing settings.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work closely with both internal teams and customers.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Proven track record to lead teams and projects, guiding them to successful outcomes.
Experience in problem-solving and producing high-quality customer-facing collaterals.
A proven track record of influencing product direction and solving critical issues.
Experience and understanding in SoC (System on Chip) and/or high-complexity high speed board design.
Familiarity with server topology, BMC interfaces, and security considerations.
