The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a Senior Network Operations Specialist to provide critical support to USSTRATCOM by ensuring the stability, security and efficiency of network operations. This role involves advanced technical expertise, strategic planning and collaborative efforts with various teams to maintain robust communications systems and network infrastructure across multiple enterprises and classification levels.

The work location for this position is Omaha, Nebraska. The position is contingent upon award of the United States Strategic Command SCITLS contract.

Responsibilities:

Network Operations Specialist, Senior:

Possesses and applies comprehensive knowledge in network management and engineering services, including device O&M, network planning and analysis, and lifecycle management

Oversees the network performance to ensure optimal operation, identifying and addressing potential issues

Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation

Diagnoses network connectivity problems and implements effective solutions

Configures network devices, such as routers, switches, and firewalls, to enhance performance and security

Implements and updates security measures to protect the network from vulnerabilities and external threats

Possesses and applies comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high-impact assignments

Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments

May supervise others

Qualifications:

Required:

Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field

Minimum of 5 years of experience in network operations or a related area.

Required 8140 Cert within 6 months of stat date: 441 - Intermediate; CEH or CFR or Cloud+ or GICSP or SSCP or Security+ or GSEC; OR Applicable degree ABET accredited/CAE designated; OR Training

AND

Additional Cert: One or more Cisco certifications, including CCNA, CCNP

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities

Proficient in network monitoring and management tools

This position is contingent on funding and may not be filled immediately. However, this position is representative of positions within CACI that are consistently available. Individuals who apply may also be considered for other positions at CACI.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$65,000 - $136,500
