Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced and knowledgeable Senior Network Engineer with Broadcom NetOps experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in network engineering, design, implementation, and troubleshooting. This role requires a deep understanding of network protocols, security, and performance optimization. The Senior Network Engineer will play a critical role in supporting our clients' complex network environments and ensuring the highest levels of performance, security, and reliability.

Required Qualifications:

Active DoD TS/SCI w/ CI Poly required

8+ years of Network or System engineering experience preferably in a DoD environment

Demonstrated experience with Broadcom NetOps technical environment

Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or 10+ years of relevant experience with no degree.

Certifications:

CCNA or equivalent certification.

Technical Skills/Knowledge:

Operating Systems:

Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Server.Proficiency in Linux/Unix environments.

Web Server Knowledge:

Experience with Apache Tomcat.Experience with Microsoft IIS.Experience with Jetty or Wildfly.

Containerization:

Hands-on experience with Kubernetes or Docker.

Databases:

Proficiency in MySQL.Proficiency in Vertica or PostgreSQL.

Networking and Protocols:

In-depth knowledge of SNMP.In-depth knowledge of HTTPS.In-depth knowledge of REST.Proficiency in Packet Captures.

Scripting:

Proficiency in one or more scripting languages

Desired Skills:

Demonstrated experience with SDN/SDWAN technologies.Proven track record in network operations and support.Proficiency in using network monitoring tools to proactively identify and address potential issues.

Work Environment:

This position may require occasional travel (10%).
