CACI is seeking a Senior Network and Voice Engineer support the Global Operations Center (GOC) Engineering within the USSTRATCOM. This position is responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of network and voice communications systems that enable command and control operations. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain robust communication infrastructures that support mission-critical operations. The work location for this position is Omaha, Nebraska. The position is contingent upon award of the United States Strategic Command SCITLS contract.
Responsibilities:
Possesses domain and expert technical knowledge
Guides engineering of network, routing, and switching capabilities for enterprise voice/video/data networks
Provides support and tech expertise in networking technology, including LAN/WAN hardware, switches, bridges, and routers
Plans/implements secure transfer of data to multiple locations via internal/external networks
Works with vendors/Government/carriers/tech staff on network implementation, optimization, and ongoing management
Guides/performs design, build, configuration, test, and documentation tasks
Possesses and applies comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high-impact assignments
Plans and leads major technology assignments
Evaluates performance results and recommends major changes affecting short-term project growth and success
Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments
Must be willing and able to work rotating shifts (days, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays) as required by mission needs
Additional Duties: Perform other related duties as assigned by leadership to meet mission requirements and support USSTRATCOM objectives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on voice communications
Required 8140 Cert: 651 - Intermediate; FITSP-D or GDSA or CASP+ or CCSP or Cloud+ or CSSLP or GSEC; OR Applicable degree ABET accredited/CAE designated; OR Training
Strong knowledge of networking protocols
Experience with network security practices and tools
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
Clearance Required Top Secret with SCI eligibility

The proposed salary range for this position is:
