Description:
Hire Resolve’s client is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mine Planner to join their dynamic mining team in Gauteng. As a Senior Mine Planner, you will be responsible for designing and implementing strategic and operational mine plans, ensuring the efficient and safe extraction of minerals.

Responsibilities:

Create and optimize short-term and medium-term mine plans Ensure Zero Harm culture through compliance with SHE policies, standards, and governance. Lead by example in SHE standards and operational campaigns. Conduct regular safety and operational inspections with prompt remediation. Define team roles to maintain effective performance. Coach Front Line Leaders (FLL) on safety management and task execution. Develop rolling plans with stakeholders to align with business goals. Schedule resources for mining activities to meet targets.

Requirements:

Grade 12 BSc Degree in Mining Engineering, or related field Mine Overseers Certificate of Competency 5 years’ experience in short/medium-term mine planning. 2 years’ production experience in a managerial role. Strong knowledge of mine planning software (Swik Suite, Syncromine etc.) Valid Drivers’ License
