Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc. As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization.
  Basic Qualifications: 2+ years of experience with software development. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related engineering field. Proficient at programming in Java, and at least one other major programming / scripting language. Distributed systems fundamentals. Ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional, global team environment.
  Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience using, and ideally developing, code generation software. Experience using IaaS and PaaS cloud services offered by a major cloud services provider. Strong working experience on: GitHub/Bitbucket, TeamCity/Hudson, Maven/Gradle. Experience with production operations and best practices for putting quality code in production and troubleshoot issues when they arise. Able to effectively communicate technical ideas verbally and in writing (technical proposals, design specs, architecture diagrams and presentations). Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related engineering field.
