Proposal Summary:

The Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment (OUSD(A&S)) is responsible for leading the U.S. Department of Defense’s (DoD) efforts related to research and development, advanced technology, developmental test and evaluation, production, logistics, installation management, military construction, defense procurement, acquisition policy, environmental and nuclear security, chemical and biological matters, operational energy plans and programs, corrosion policy and oversight, human capital initiatives, as well as small and disadvantaged business management. To accomplish this mission, OUSD(A&S) requires administrative, analytical, and strategic communication support services.

 


Position Summary:

MSI is seeking a Senior Media/Video Technician who will be responsible for maintenance, setup, takedown, and operation of electronic video equipment for OUSD(A&S). The position will be based in the DC metro area.

Responsibilities:

Collect Audio video (AV) technicians responsible for USD (A&S) Executive Conference Room/Facility. Responsible for maintenance, setup, takedown, and operation of electronic video equipment. Additional duties may be assigned, as required within the context of these duties to support OUSD(A&S) Senior Leadership Conference Schedule

 

Qualifications:

Must have an active Secret or Top Secret/SCI clearance. Must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience, to include personnel, scheduling, task management, planning, programming, forecasting, correspondence, security, and facilities with the Department of Defense (DoD). Must have experience within DoD and other federal agencies. Must be highly proficient in using Video Conference Room Equipment and the Microsoft Office Suite, to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Must have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Must have outstanding English writing skills and the ability to quickly deliver quality written products in constrained time periods. Must have strong active listening skills to assess customer needs and satisfaction. Must have experience in managing customer expectations and working directly with customers. Must have outstanding customer service abilities, initiative, judgement, creativity, flexibility, and confidence. Must have the ability to multi-task across multiple projects.
