Job Title: Senior Mechanical Designer

Duration: Contract to Hire
Seeking a Senior Mechanical Designer to support new and existing product designs, engineering documentation, and manufacturing processes. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and update 3D models and 2D drawings using SolidWorks.
Review and revise engineering documentation, ensuring accuracy.
Support manufacturing teams in fabrication, assembly, and testing.
Process Engineering Change Requests and maintain proper documentation.
Participate in design reviews and provide feasibility feedback.
Ensure proper file organization and adherence to engineering processes.
QualificationsAssociate degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
5+ years of experience in mechanical design using SolidWorks 3D Parametric Modeling.
Experience with fabricated/machined components, schematics, and assemblies.
Knowledge of DFM/DFA, GD&T, and mechanical tolerances.
Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
Work EnvironmentOffice-based with involvement in manufacturing and testing areas as needed.
