In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Design, develop, and optimize power electronics semiconductor reliability test systems with a strong focus on safety, reliability, compliance and product lifecycle. Create and validate test systems for quality assurance and product performance evaluation, ensuring robust and repeatable results that meet engineering standards. Ensure all designs comply with international and regional safety standards, including CE marking, and EMC requirements. Perform risk assessments, safety evaluations, and maintain detailed compliance documentation to support certification processes. Develop comprehensive technical documentation, including technical drawings, parts lists, assembly plans, operating manuals, and maintenance guides to facilitate production and end-user understanding. Conduct quality control tests, analyze test results, and implement design improvements based on findings. Work closely with internal teams (e.g., product development, manufacturing) and external stakeholders to ensure project alignment, technical feasibility, and compliance. Provide technical expertise to production teams, including troubleshooting, debugging, and quality assurance procedures during manufacturing processes. Conduct thorough testing of integrated hardware systems to ensure functionality and adherence to design and compliance requirements. Participate in prototyping phases by creating testing protocols and validating design concepts early in the product lifecycle. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to transition test systems and processes from development to production, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and reliability. Participate in hands-on assembly, rework, and troubleshooting during the setup and debugging phases of test systems. Conduct component research and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) to support product and test system development. Analyze test metrics to provide actionable feedback, identify root causes of failures, and recommend design enhancements. Maintain up-to-date technical documentation and reports to ensure alignment across development and production teams.

    For This Role, You Will Need: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Over 5 years of experience in mechanical design and construction. Proven expertise in test systems, safety compliance, and quality assurance. Extensive knowledge of industry standards for safety and compliance (e.g., CE marking, EMC requirements). Experience with safety-critical system and component design and testing. Proficiency in CAD Tools (Creo, Autodesk Inventor, and EPLAN). Expertise in structural designs, semiconductor systems, and reliability test systems. Strong analytical skills for test data interpretation and feedback to development teams. Familiarity with product lifecycle management (PLM) tools and processes. Fluency in both German and English
