The Maintenance Team Lead will oversee a team of 4 maintenance technicians responsible for the efficient and safe operation of material handling equipment, electrical systems, and Robotic Cell technology. This role is critical for ensuring the continuous operation of the facility, with a focus on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and team leadership.

Hourly compensation will be between $42-$50/hr.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to

Promote a safe working environment by following all safety proceduresTrain team members on the safe operation and basic maintenance of automated equipment.Maintain and troubleshoot all conveyor systems in the building’Lead and audit preventative maintenance procedures.Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, photo-eyes, motor starters, limit switches, proximity sensors, solenoids, etc.Create and close out work orders with data including labor hours, equipment maintenance and parts usedMaintain a positive working relationships across all of the Operations facilityDevelop training plans for service techniciansDevelop work plans for emergency repair of critical assetsMove up to 49lbs as well as stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, with or without reasonable accommodation

Robotic Cell Maintenance:

Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks on AutoStore, Case Conveyor, Pallet Conveyor, Spirals, Robotics, and ML2’s.Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and software issues affecting equipment functionality.Execute corrective maintenance activities in a timely manner to restore system performance.Collaborate with vendors or internal and external service providers for specialized repairs or parts replacement

Material Handling Equipment Maintenance:

Perform scheduled inspections and maintenance on conveyors, and other material handling equipment.Identify and address mechanical, electrical, and control system issues impacting equipment performance.Execute repairs, adjustments, and replacements of faulty components to ensure optimal functionality.

Basic Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent5+ years of experience working with automated conveyors and controls5+ years of experience with electrical and electronic principles and industrial electronics5+ years of experience conducting preventative maintenance5 + years of experience reading blueprints and schematics3+ years of work order management3+ years leading a maintenance team

Certificate or higher degree from a vocational school or college with a focus in the Mechanical or Electrical fieldDiploma in Electro mechanics or MechatronicsMillwright license4+ years apprenticeship or equivalent experience in the Mechanical or Electrical fieldPrevious leadership experiencePrevious vendor management experienceExperience with robotic maintenanceAutoStore maintenance experience.
