As the **Senior Marketing Manager - BD Diagnostic Solutions Canada** , you are responsible for:
+ Developing and coaching talent within the Canadian marketing team
+ Defining the umbrella strategic marketing plan. Executing an outcomes-based strategy across all platforms
+ Representing BDDS Canada at WW Marketing forums
+ Delivering financial objectives through close collaboration with Sales and Business Operations
+ Leading, coaching and mentoring a team of 4 marketing associates ensuring development plans, annual goals for impact and HR planning are in place and reviewed regularly
**Responsibilities**
+ Defining, validating and implementing marketing strategies that identify compelling solutions for Canadian (or Provincial) market. Ensuring individual platform strategy is integrated into a broader Healthcare strategy with relevance to executive stakeholders.
+ Leading the integration of Global BD initiatives into BDDS Canada marketing activities including The BD Way of Marketing planning process.
+ Mentoring and coaching DS marketing team, assessing capabilities and gaps to achieve strategic goals and set plans to manage and mitigate.
+ Communicating success and learnings from the Canadian market development activity to the broader WW DS marketing teams to ensure alignment and leverage of WW resources.
+ Leading the execution of the Canadian strategic planning process and working in collaboration with sales leader to define the tactical and execution plan.
+ Managing and coordinating marketing input to forecasting process. Monitoring and analyzing the evolution of sales and GP performance. Developing and implementing corrective actions where necessary.
+ Organizing, coordinating and implementing product and solutions launch activities: product evaluation, promotional campaign, sales support tools, pricing approach, country roll out, training program, opening inventory and logistic criteria.
+ Maintaining and developing product line expertise in terms of: customer needs, marketing trends, products, technologies, applications and competition.
+ Maintaining effective KOL (Key Opinion Leaders) network.
+ Working with BU Leader, Finance, Marketing Team and Sales to build annual budgets and quarterly forecasts as well as Annual Strategy Reviews
+ Representing DS Canada at WW and regional marketing meetings to ensure a collaborative and synergistic relationship across business units.
**What does success look like in the first three to six months?**
**Education and Experience**
+ Bachelor of Science or Business Degree. MBA preferred.
+ 7 years of marketing/product management healthcare experience, in the capital medical device space strongly preferred, with a strong understanding of the Life Sciences Segment (Clinical Diagnostics and/or Research).
+ Knowledge of Canada's healthcare regulations, standards, and compliance requirements.
+ Proven and direct experience in developing and executing marketing plans and managing a team.
+ Financial business acumen with direct experience in forecasting with proven track record of achieving and exceeding financial targets.
+ Proficient with MS office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Salesforce.
+ Bilingual French (read write speak) an asset.
+ Travel 10% or as needed in Canada and/or US.
+ Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and a past clean driving record for a minimum of 3 years, as well as meet BD's auto safety standards.

+ Demonstrated expertise in marketing excellence: proven skills in driving strategic offerings
+ Ability to develop deep insights from relationships, analytics and research to inform marketing plans
+ Demonstrated ability in market planning and execution for sales effectiveness
+ Ability to work in cross functional team, fostering environment of customer centricity with bias to action
