Senior Market Research Professional

 Humana’s Corporate Marketing Organization is looking for a Senior Market Research Professional to join the Market Research team working remote anywhere in the US. The goal of the Market Research team at Humana is to discover and illuminate insights into market conditions and customers’ wants and needs to reduce risks and maximize opportunities for Humana, all in service of improving the health of the people we serve.

As the Senior Market Research Professional, you will work with marketing partners and the lines of business to define a learning agenda and key strategic insight needs. You will play a pivotal role in insuring that the business teams understand and hear the voice of the customer and other key stakeholders.

Key Actions & Role Responsibilities (per each project)

Determine the key business questions to be answered

Scope the right research audience

Secure research sample (if not using a panel)

Selection of the appropriate vendor from our approved set of research partners

Partner with the vendor to identify the best research methodology

Gain approvals and alignment on research instruments including legal and compliance

Project manage the vendor through the research

Vendor conducts data analysis and provide initial report (Senior Market Research Professional works in conjunction with the vendor to deliver a final report focused on true insights and direction to the business)

Present insights to all stakeholders

In this role, you may also assist other researchers on the team in larger, more complex projects and assignments. Budget management and tracking as well as other research operations may also be assigned.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or higher in Market Research, Data Analytics, Marketing, Communications or Business

3+ years of Marketing research experience in both qualitative and quantitative projects

Experience in the healthcare and/or health insurance industry

Understanding and experience with a variety of research methodologies

Strong project management skills and the ability to proactively address obstacles

Ability to take data and turn it in to a compelling story through insight, data visualization, etc.

Strong presentation skills and experience communicating complex and functional strategies to senior management

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree or other graduate degree

Healthcare, Provider research Experience

Medicare/Senior Consumer Experience

Experience with CMS STARs requirements, ratings, and measurements

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.


 

$93,000 - $128,000 per year


 

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
