We are seeking a talented Senior Manufacturing Engineering Program Manager to join our dynamic team and lead the development of cutting-edge Energy Storage System solutions.
As a Sr. Manufacturing Engineering Program Manager, you will oversee and coordinate the development of NPI manufacturing projects across various cross-functional teams. This role requires strong technical program management skills, a proven track record in delivering complex programs, and the ability to drive results in a large, matrixed organization.
This role is onsite in Reno NV. Approximately 10% travel.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate Cross-Functional Teams: Lead and manage the development of NPI HW by collaborating with but not limited to; engineering, product management, and manufacturing teams.Project Planning and Tracking: Develop detailed project plans, track progress against milestones, and provide regular status updates to management and stakeholders.Risk Management: Identify schedule risks associated with NPI development and create effective mitigation plans.Alignment with Product Requirements: Work closely with product management and field engineering teams to ensure hardware deliveries align with requirements and goals.Quality and Compliance: Partner with Quality and Compliance engineering teams meet quality standards and comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.Manufacturing Integration: Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure successful build planning and integration into final products.Minimum Qualifications:
Experience: At least 3+ years of experience managing NPI development projects.Technical Background: At least 1 year of hands-on experience in manufacturing, mechanical or electrical design development.Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.Skills: Strong demonstrated technical program management skills with the ability to deliver complex programs. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and experience working in a large, matrixed organization.Tools: Proficiency in JIRA or similar project management tools.Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced Degree: Master’s degree in a relevant field.Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of manufacturing systems and associated development frameworks. Familiarity with relevant industry standards and compliance requirements.Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze technical problems and develop innovative solutions.Team Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.#LI-HR1
