What you’ll do
Responsible for platforms capability for VBSE and CNI customers, across multiple security levels. Including both private cloud and public cloud. Lead architecture, delivery, support, and performance of IP-MPLS, Hosting, IT, DevOps in line with the strategic plan of VBSE.
• Accountable for the architecture of core hosted platforms to customers with the highest security requirements; including CNI and Public Sector
• Lead technology solutions across VBSE and its customers. Ensure appropriate technology decisions are made within VBSE and for VBSE customers that will satisfy customer requirements, obligations and HMG Good Practice.
• Lead the VBSE platforms functions across multiple disciplines, ensuring appropriate technology decisions and operational capability and performance exists within VBSE and for VBSE customers.
• Key stakeholder for pre-sales, ensuring commercially viable solutions that are deliverable by Vodafone/VBSE.
• Key contributor to senior D-level customer and internal stakeholder on matters relating to VBSE managed services hosting and platform capability/security
Who you are
• Security & market knowledge. Expert knowledge of air gapped, cryptographically separated, multi domain platform solutions. Knowledge of security requirements and solutions. Knowledge of IT frameworks and sources of good practice guidance (e.g. ISO, ITIL, NCSC).
• Leadership across multi disciplined domains. Leading platform capability for high end secure customers and adherence to accreditation/audit/compliance frameworks and controls
• Relationship skills. Able to identify, own and develop effective working relationships at various levels and work collaboratively with stakeholders with minimal direction. Work effectively in a matrix organisation and build strong relationship and credibility with Board/ Executives both internally and externally.
