The PMD department is responsible for the GTS Originate and Distribute strategy to be applied across existing and new transactions.The PMD team covers all GTS products, including Guarantees, Core Trade (FI and Corporate), Open Account (Receivables Finance, Supply Chain), Commodity Trade Finance and Asset-Backed Lending.The PMD team interacts with several internal and external investors, including Banks, Non-Banking Financial Institutions (Asset Managers, Insurance Cos.), the Insurance market (Surety, NPI, etc.), Family Offices and Private Banks.
What you will do:
The Senior Manager will work as part of an existing PMD team and reporting to PMD Regional Head of Transactors. The role will be responsible for structuring the distribution of complex deals across GTS product space with specific focus on Receivables Finance transactions.
The base location for this role is HSBC France (Kleber, Paris), flexible working options are available, and the role holder will be required to travel to team and client meetings.
In this role you will:

Excellent understanding of GTS products including Receivables FinanceGood understanding of other Trade Products and solutions, including import and export financing, Documentary Credits, Guarantees and Commodity and Supply Chain FinanceGood understanding of bilateral risk distribution techniques as well as insurance products. Good knowledge of the process of transferring/selling trade risks. Strong understanding of how the secondary market operates and awareness of investor trends and dynamicsExcellent knowledge of how distribution (mitigation or transfer) can help to reduce or eliminate risks in order to achieve for example credit, cross border or balance sheet reliefProfessionally and technically solid, must be able to easily interact with sophisticated stakeholders such as Financial Institution investorsExperience in a Global bank structuring complex multi-jurisdictional transactionsClient management skills, business oriented, displays strong commercial awareness, Innovative and creative, ‘out of the box’ thinkerExcellent interpersonal, problem solving and negotiation skills, team player, multitasker, inspires and mobilizes stakeholdersCultural sensitivity and awareness as position requires to work across countries/regionsResilient and able to quickly adapt to changing conditions, ability to develop strategy and carry through executionAdditional European language (incl.
