Senior Manager - Placement, Health & Benefits

We are seeking an experienced Health & Benefits specialist to join our Placement team and lead the placement of comprehensive health and benefits solutions for our clients. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end placement process, ensuring clients receive the most suitable and cost-effective insurance products while maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction. You will collaborate with internal teams, Underwriter’s/insurer’s/TPA’s/ to deliver tailored health and benefits plans that align with client needs and goals.

Key Responsibilities

Insurance Placement Management: Lead and manage the end-to-end placement process ensuring timely, accurate, and efficient placement in the market. Managing team to support new business and retention team in procuring best quotations from the available market. Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategies for the effective placement of policies, ensuring optimal terms, conditions, and pricing are achieved for clients. Relationship Management – Insurer’s & TPA’s: Build and maintain strong relationships with underwriters, TPA’s and other stakeholders to negotiate the best policy terms and placements. Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes to identify opportunities for better coverage options or policy optimization. Client Interaction: Serve as the key point of contact for clients regarding their insurance placements, guiding them through the placement process Collaborate with clients to understand their specific health and benefits needs, and tailor insurance placements accordingly to ensure a comprehensive approach. Risk Management: Analyze client needs and risk exposures, recommending appropriate insurance solutions and ensuring all placements align with client objectives and risk tolerance.

 

                                                                                                                                                                                                                       

The Requirements

MBA/ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in related field.7+ years of experience in health & benefits placement, insurance brokerage with a proven track record in placing complex health and benefits plans. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including facilitation of group presentationsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail to manage the complexities of health & benefits placements and ensure compliance.Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to guide teams, manage multiple clients, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access and industry-specific analysis software.Innovation and problem-solving skills that include the ability to develop and propose equipment-based solutions for clients.
