Job DescriptionReporting to the Director of DevSecOps, the Sr. Manager of Network Security is a technical leadership position managing network security services across Experian's Data Center and Cloud estate in a high-traffic e- commerce environment. You will have experience eliminating repetitive work; automation and self-service are methodologies you will use every day. Provide strategic leadership and daily management of the Network Security teamLead network security projects, including strategy, requirements gathering, and definition of scope and project timelines as a Product OwnerRecruit DevOps personnel and manage career development for the teamLead efforts across the engineering, Data Services, and Information Security teams by promoting cooperative relationships and empowering the teamBuild an organization made up of Cloud fundamentals that embody the concept of Infrastructure as Code" solutionsManage the daily operations for the Network engineering functions, including project management and project coordination across multiple geographical offices, appraising performance, training, administering salaries, and communicating department goalsMaintain relationships with our partners and vendors including budget and negotiationsConfiguration management standards across infrastructure and applications for the cloud environmentsUnderstand the importance of multi-cloud strategies and multi-region HA and DR capabilitiesTroubleshoot complex Network security issues to identify the causeEducation and Experience
A bachelor's degree in computer science or other technical degree or equivalent experienceMinimum 7-10 years of experience in a hands-on cloud engineering role with 5 years experience leading/managing a team of Network or Security engineersBackground of creating teams focusing on a 24x7 e-commerce environmentExperience balancing an organization's IT Infrastructure needs with its need to doYou have a background in network infrastructure and security technologiesDeep experience deploying applications in AWS, GCP, or Azure public cloudsCisco or equivalent certifications.
