Conduct daily toolbox talks to communicate safety procedures and address operational requirements. Ensure deployment of equipment (HEMM), overman, and mining sirdar as per the plan. Oversee mine operations such as production, development, road construction, dewatering, blasting, dust control, haul road maintenance, and dump stability in accordance with approved plans and specifications. Plan and execute drilling, blasting, and coal seam removal activities following company SOPs and regulatory guidelines. Provide guidance to shift incharge for safe and productive operations, meeting production and dispatch targets. Collaborate with colliery engineer to ensure continuous, safe, and efficient shift operations. Plan and execute preparatory works for the monsoon season. Schedule regular maintenance for equipment, including conveyor lines and outsourced equipment. Ensure compliance with operations, maintenance, and equipment deployment records as per regulatory guidelines and SOPs. Guide shift incharge in resolving problems during coal extraction. Conduct periodic rounds in the mine, observe operations, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental guidelines. Coach contract employees on safe behaviors and contribute to developing a safety culture. Coordinate and monitor all mine activities in alignment with mining acts, rules, and regulations. Manage contractors to produce or supply in line with their contract service level agreements (SLAs). Develop, maintain, and improve area and work standards and procedures, leading and coaching subordinates in this process. Undertake measures and projects to improve productivity, reduce costs, and enhance safety. Ensure training of employees, both company and outsourced, in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
