CRST Specialized Solutions
CRST’s Specialized Solutions team offers high-value shipping, custom supply chain solutions and project logistics for customers requiring special handling and equipment. Our blanket wrap, white glove truckload and LTL shipping provides real-time tracking and onsite delivery service to ensure safe, timely and damage free delivery. Our extensive network and warehouse capacity – encompassing 3.1 million square feet across 60+ locations and more than 1,400 secure third-party facilities – allows us to support customers at every moment in the supply chain, including assembly, order fulfillment, kitting and reverse logistics. And our 60 years of project logistics experience make us the go-to partner to manage projects requiring mixed services and coordination, from a national product rollout to multi-location construction and renovation

The Position
Reporting Structure: The Senior Manager - Finance reports to the Vice President - Financial Planning & Analysis
Role and Responsibilities
The Senior Manager – Finance is responsible for leading financial operations, ensuring the accuracy of financial data, and supporting the business with analysis and recommendations to enhance performance. Key responsibilities include:
Financial Accuracy and Closing Activities: Ensure the accuracy of financial data, including performing or reviewing month-end closing activities and balance sheet reconciliations. Team Leadership and Development: Supervise and mentor staff, including writing performance appraisals, hiring, disciplining, and termination decisions with management approval. Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in planning, organizing, and coordinating the budgeting and forecasting processes for the business unit or international support budgets. Data Consolidation and Presentation: Consolidate and present financial data, including preparing information for quarterly board packages. Operational Collaboration: Collaborate with internal personnel to support the business unit and serve as a prime contact for financial information. Operational Metrics Monitoring: Understand and monitor key operating metrics, providing management with analysis and recommendations to improve efficiency, drive cost savings, and enhance performance. Strategic Recommendations: Provide actionable insights and financial guidance to support business growth and operational excellence. Special Projects: Lead and support financial projects, including process improvements and cost-optimization initiatives. Compliance and Reporting: Ensure adherence to financial policies, internal controls, and regulatory standards. Other Duties: Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned to support business objectives.Experience and Requirements
Qualifications
Education:
High school diploma or GED required. Four-year degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.Experience:
10+ years of related finance and/or accounting experience, including 5 years in leadership roles. Experience in the transportation industry preferred but not required.Technical Skills:
Advanced MS Office knowledge, specifically with MS ExcelPersonal Attributes:
