About the team: TE

About the role:
This role is responsible for timely maintenance and upkeep of production equipment (mechanical and electrical) and utilities with the objective of ensuring on-time and quality production with zero accidents and a safe and healthy work environment with 100% statutory compliances.

Role Responsibilities:

Plant Maintenance for Productivity Improvement

Plan, implement and monitor the daily maintenance plan to enhance the serviceability of mechanical/ electrical systemPlan, schedule, implement and monitor the preventive / predictive maintenance to minimize breakdownHandle real time breakdown/emergency effectivelyCritical analysis of spares & maintain inventory of vital, essential & desirable spares as par analysis.Maintaining asset history data & improving asset life applying analysing tools.Fine tuning bottling lines to ensure error free fill level & desired labelling accuracy at rated capacityTrouble shooting and smooth operation of process plant, SCADA & other specific automations

Operation and Maintenance of Utilities

Ensure efficient operation and maintenance of DG’s, Air Compressors, HVAC, STP, ETP, Industrial Water Supply, incinerator, cold rooms etc. to ensure full scale availability of Utility equipmentEnsure efficient operation and maintenance of solar plant, steam turbine, gas turbine and advance RO systemDrive energy saving and improvement project initiation, planning and executionEnsure Statutory compliance adherence and monitoring

Documentation and Reporting

Document and Report maintenance activitiesMaintain a list of all spares availableDesign maintenance strategies, procedures & methods in form of the maintenance manual.Conduct Utility consumption analysis and reporting.Liaise with Government Regulatory authorities for license renewals, NOCs etc.

People Management

Lead a team of executives / supervisors / technicians to achieve different predefined KPIsCommunicate, guide, direct and monitor maintenance activitiesIdentify skill gaps among the team and provide required training to build capabilitiesInspect the daily maintenance activities and take corrective actions as required

Support

Supervise the installation & commissioning of equipmentWork closely with Quality, EHS, Production, Process Managers to ensure timely support or undertake preventive actionsCo-ordinate with Procurement department to ensure availability of spares

EHS

Ensure EHS process standards and guidelines procedure are adhered while executing maintenance, Project activities in the UnitAssist in EHS function through 100% compliance of statutory requirementsEnsure execution of SIRC, SBO observation on unsafe conditions.Lead safety culture demonstrating SBO reporting and improvement execution within asset care functions

Manex

Lead Manex asset care pillar, ensure deployment of standards & achieve target maturity scoreLead run meetings-DOR (T1,T2 & T3) participation & process confirmation.Drive process improvement agenda through Manex processes. Ensure productivity saving target are delivered through improvement and FI projects

Experience / skills required:

B. Tech/ BE (Mechanical)PGDM / PGD in boilers & Process12 -15 Years in the manufacturing sector with functional knowledge of maintenance of equipment and utilities in process industriesKnowledge of machines and equipment used in process industriesKnowledge on BoilersAbility to identify and quickly resolve equipment issues on shop floorKnowledge of risks in case of equipment issues and risk mitigation actions

Best Suited for someone who

Has experience in operational implementationHas got exposure of at least 4 years in manufacturing excellenceHas familiarity with Lean concepts, Kaizen, TPM, Integrated Management System, OSHAS, 5S, 6 sigma etc.Is well versed with different analytical tools like Pareto, Poka Yoke, Value EngineeringHas exposure in Managing Unionised workforce
