Senior Manager Crisis and Reputation Management

At ADP, our Global Media Relations and Public Affairs team works collectively to communicate the organization's mission, values, and initiatives to various stakeholders while protecting and enhancing our brand. As part of our growing team, you will have the opportunity to help us protect and promote ADP's reputation by influencing public perception, building relationships with key stakeholders and managing crisis and reputation management initiatives.  

   

JOB DESCRIPTION  

As the Senior Manager of Issues Management & Crisis Communications, you will work closely with Public Affairs leadership to develop and execute strategic international communication plans, monitor reputational risks, provide crisis response support across multiple regions, and collaborate with teams to anticipate and address complex issues.  In this position, you will collaborate with public affairs leaders on the execution of key tactics that support these international initiatives.  

  

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:  

Work closely with Public Affairs leadership to help inform holistic public affairs strategies that bolster organizational reputation globally.   Work with Public Affairs leadership to lead and coordinate real-time crisis communication efforts across EMEA, LATAM and APAC, developing effective response strategies and assets. Including drafting of media statements, talking points, FAQs, and other communication materials.   Help to strategize and coordinate on the best ways to execute headquarter-based strategies in other regions, and how to raise regional opportunities/challenges/needs back to the U.S. based headquarters.   Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a unified and consistent goal and strategy with a message that resonates regionally, nationally and/or locally.     Work to enhance and implement existing crisis preparedness and planning processes, internationally.   Work closely with the Senior Director, Public Relations, International and local PR agencies to stay up to date on industry trends, timely issues and current newscycles to help inform leaders and team members of potential risks or areas of opportunity for our brand.   Track and analyze crisis communication and reputation management efforts through quarterly reporting, identifying areas for improvement.    

   

QUALIFICATIONS:  

Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, public relations or a related field.   7+ years of work experience in public affairs, crisis communications, or related roles.   Experience working with international teams to execute complex strategies.    Must be fluent in English, both verbal and written.    Strong understanding of international business, geopolitical trends and regional/national/local stakeholder expectations and needs.   Experience in handling crisis communications and developing effective strategies.   Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey key messages effectively to multiple audiences and strengthen relationships with stakeholders.   Familiarity with digital and social media platforms and their use in public affairs strategies is preferred.   Strong organizational and project management skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.   Ability to work independently while collaborating, as part of a global team.   Ability to analyze data, research issues, and assess public opinion.
