Principal Responsibilities
Drive growth acceleration in insurance business, with a strong focus on Asia, through collaboration with HSBC Life markets and stakeholders, on development of all distribution channels including but not limited to WPB, GPB, CMB, HSBC Life Direct Channel, agency, digital and third party distributionDeliver global and regional strategic business and technology initiatives aligned to group priorities; program manage with a diverse group of stakeholders, functions and marketsProvide overall Distribution strategy planning support including distribution models and annual business plansDevelop, execute, and track outcomes of Distribution sales model e.g. BDM, IS, etc. basing on global guidelines and market variations for overall distribution capabilities and sales productivity impact. Good knowledge on insurance and/or other wealth products and relating financial planning and sales processesDemonstrated track record in wealth distribution strategy and sales journey management, implementation and oversight of policy and governance frameworks, procedures, practicesStrategic mind set, business skills and ability to lead large-scale change program and assume primary ownership of delivery and management reporting. He/she will have strong communication and negotiation skills in aligning stakeholder interests, and facilitate decision making to drive desirable outcomesHighly agile of ways of working, he/she will be expected to quickly build strong relationships with key group stakeholders to help ensure that the deliverables are effective and fit well within HSBC’s standards and practicesA strong leader with sound judgement and a team player.
