The Senior Manager, Brand and Digital will have global responsibility for company branding, and overall digital marketing strategy for Varian products and solutions. She/he will be responsible for implementation of the brand strategy within Varian according to globally binding specifications. She/he will play a key role in how our brand is perceived and experienced along with helping us grow awareness and build strong brand equity. Taking a deep internal and external stakeholder-oriented approach this individual will project manage the brand’s journey into the future. Keeping digital marketing strategy in the front and centre of the brand’s journey this individual will also work closely with the strategic marketing communications advisors in building a digital first strategy for all creative campaigns.

Responsibilities

Implement the overall company’s brand strategy and strategic messagingLead execution of new brand strategyMentor and guide a team of Creative DesignersMaintain day-to-day project management across all elements of brand strategyLead main marketing routines with the various stakeholders including product and GEO teams, ensuring coordination of main brand activitiesDevelop main brand updates and decks for key internal and external stakeholdersEstablish and steward brand governance for BA VARInterface with global stakeholders in Varian with corporate Brand Management to drive implementation of brand strategy, specifications and protection of its assetsDevelop and implement a comprehensive digital strategy aligned with the overall business goals and objectives of key product linesEstablish a digital marketing framework  in collaboration with Global, Regional/Local Marketing Teams including customer journey mapping in selected countries and understanding the Omni-channel behavior of our health care professionals.Facilitate change management in the adoption of digital technologies as a tool for integrated marketing campaigns to enhance operational excellence by collaborating with diverse stakeholdersCollaborate closely with relevant cross-function stakeholders, to build lead generation and nurturing campaigns, creating quality MQLsPartner closely with web and digital operations team to vvaluate new technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate.

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

BA/BS Communications, Marketing, Advertising or equivalent; MBA highly desirableExperience and familiarity with building digital marketing strategies using social channels, community management, online campaign development and social production requirements is a requirement10+ years of successful experience within brand communications, creative and brand strategy, or communicationsAbility to interface with upper management and global colleagues in a professional mannerAbility to create engagement through the brand/win others overPossess strong negotiation skillsProven creative innovative and strategic thinkerCollaborative team playerExperience from vendor management and the RFP processExperience working with (or within) agencies on brand-related projectsExperience in managing brand architecture across a marketing portfolio according to set brand specifications of a global master brandEffective and engaging team player with strong verbal communication and presentation skillsPossess ability to cultivate a collaborative working environmentSkilled in operating in compliance with regulatory requirements and internal toolsExceptional communication and interpersonal skillsTravel required: X%

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

The successful candidate will have experience in from working within set frameworks for a masterbrand strategy and strategic messaging across multiple touchpoints, including products.

Successful demonstration of key responsibilities and knowledge as listed aboveCross-functional indirect project and team leadershipProven expertise in complex project management across different stakeholder groupsVendor and partner managementCreative and brand design experience with familiarity of design tools will be an added advantageOutstanding communicator with the ability to build relationships, influence across all levels, and drive smart decision-makingImpeccable organizational skills, a strategic thinker with a keen eye for detailExtremely high proficiency in Powerpoint and other MS Office tools as well as familiarity with project management toolsInterest in medtech and ability to understand high tech products aimed at healthcare workers and patientsComfortable in a fast-paced, self-starter environmentExperience in establishing new products under a master brand, including naming according to set specificationsComfort and ability to manage ambiguityExperience with demand generation/sales enablement

The base pay range for this position is

Min $140,400 - Max $252,800

The pay wage range shown is based on the job posting's primary location. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to skill set, experience, certifications, and location.
