About the opportunity  

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for a senior product leader with experience managing digital products from a commercial / business perspective, to drive improvements within a widespread service that Australians use every day.

You will own the Australia Post app, tracking and notifications experience for senders and receivers and play an integral part in our mission to connect Australians. In this role you will deeply understand the needs of senders and receivers within the ‘track’ customer journey. You will define, prioritise and manage features for the Australia Post App, with a mission to continue it’s place as the premier receiver experience.

You will create improvements within the App that put us ahead of the competition and make things easier for both parties. You will also drive greater flexibility and standardisation within the ‘track and notify’ journey for all senders and receivers.

In this role, you will have an impact on a technology and an experience that will make sending and receiving parcels better for millions.  

What you’ll deliver with us  

In this high level role, you will be responsible for setting the overall strategy for the Australia Post App, tracking and notifications experience for senders, receivers and team members. Working in close partnership with our product groups you will find yourself covering all channels and touch points.

You will be deeply involved with technical experts from our technology division to help the business goals come to life from a technical perspective.  

You’ll also   

Ensure our app remains a premium receiver experience and serves as a high ranking app within the Australian market. To do this requires keeping the features and App roadmap ahead of competitors and leading the market in receiver choice and control over their deliveries.Consider needs across all customer segments, and you’ll ensure a single view for customers and our team members to drive consistent information for tracking and notifications.You will report on customer experience principles, goals and targets.You will identify and prioritise improvements and lead execution teams to define, design and develop capability across the end to end value chain.You’ll optimise and streamline our scanning, tracking and notification process for senders and receivers across all channels of freight services. 

About you  

You will have led the management of a high profile product before, be able to take the mantle of a senior leader within the business and work with senior stakeholders from multiple divisions within a large and complex environment.

You’ll also need   

Experience developing product strategy and end to end product lifecycle management.Demonstrated experience of where you have collaborated in order to realise commercial outcomes.Knowledge and experience in developing digital channels and customer touchpoints.
