Posting Summary Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Senior Manager Core Services – Animal Care department within the Office for Research. The Senior Manager facilitates implementation of core management software and support business operations across all recognized Rutgers Research Core Facilities.
The Office for Research’s mission is to support the research, scholarship, and creative endeavors of all Rutgers faculty. The Office accomplishes its mission by convening with academic and research leaders, providing integrated, user-focused resources, services, and tools, and partnering with faculty.
Among the key duties of this position are the following: Serves as a liaison between the core management software Customer Success Team and numerous Rutgers core directors to ensure efficient and organized execution of software training and website set-up. Ensures smooth transition to new core management system by generating training material for all software users. Ensures core compliance with University-Wide Core Service policies and procedures. Expects to become an expert user in the core management software system and serve as the primary Rutgers University point of contact for all software-related issues, including account discrepancies originating from software, transactions not posting to Oracle, and fund file errors. Handles business process recommendations and designs, developments, functions and project management. Reviews of integration and interfaces for maximum efficiency. Handles recommendations for improvement and upgrades.
