Senior Manager – Financial Accounting
Location: Pretoria, Gauteng / Hybrid.
Preference will be given to BBBEE candidates due to BEE requirements.
There is an exciting new opportunity available for a Senior Manager – Financial Accounting with at a renowned financial institution.
Position Overview:
The purpose of this position is to manage the institution’s financial accounting, production of financial statements that comply with international financial reporting standards (IFRS) supported by valid, accurate, complete transaction and sound internal control environment. In addition, the financial account processes must be supported by relevant policies and legislation.
The Senior Manager – Financial Accounting manages the working capital management, accounts payable, payroll and provides various reports that are discussed at Executive management (Exco) and other governance structures.
Experience, Qualifications and Knowledge Required:
Chartered Accountant of South Africa, CA(SA). A minimum of 6 years in a Financial Accounting role in a large organisation, of which 4 years should be in a management role. Experience in preparation of IFRS Compliant Financial Statements. An additional qualification and experience in Data Analytics and Emerging Technologies will be an advantage. Analytical skills, data analytics, business acumen, sound judgment, and an ability to work effectively with technical staff.
