Job Description

Allied Universal® is hiring a Procurement & Logistics Senior Manager. The Procurement & Logistics Senior Manager is responsible for management and implementation of AUTS’s sourcing strategy for finished goods, subcontract labor and manufacturing, supporting the AUTS supply chain, all logistical functions such as fleet, field office warehousing, product inventory, shipping/receiving, and product pre-assembly.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop and implement sourcing strategies that identify cost savings opportunities, mitigate risks, and build strong relationships with vendorsDevelop strategies and standard operating procedures for AUTS logistics, including fleet management and provisioning, technician tool provisioning, equipment rentals, product resale inventory controls, subcontractor engagement, shipping/receiving, and multi-product solution kitting, among othersProvide oversight, direction, development, training and coaching to direct and indirect reports in order to ensure successful execution of AUTS’s policies and procedures; formulate and implement directives and guidance materialsSelection and placement of direct reports; design and implement career development and performance improvement plansSupport the administration of standard product SKUs within the Allied Universal Technology Services (AUTS) quoting and proposal development back-office systems, and routinely work with suppliers to automate and streamline the sameMaintain up-to-date and accurate records of all vendor purchasing and reseller agreements, including pricing, terms, and historical purchasing volumeChampion new culture of support and collaborative communication while striving to identify value-add opportunities across all areas of responsibilityPersonally manage relationships with mid-tier suppliers including participating in business reviews, resolving escalation issues, participating in agreement negotiation, administering rebate programs, etc.Assist the Vice President, Purchasing and Logistics with corporate initiatives, and change management as AUTS continues to evolve our maturity in support of strategic goals across all responsible areasManage vendor maintenance / paperwork; enter and update SAP supplier master data for purchase orders and vendor invoices, complete supplier paperwork, credit applications and process/file dealer agreements, request sales tax exemptions as needed to relieve sales tax from supplier invoicesManage vendor portal administration, employee permissions (add, edit, remove)Track and report on spending and rebate opportunities with vendorsSKU maintenance / supplier pricing; new material requests, price audits, manufacturer abbreviationsProactive management of non-material products (recuring monthly revenue, etc.) maintenance; discount and preferred supplier information, Brand, and strategic-customer specific price lists.Accounts Payable, Purchasing and Warehouse Escalations; work with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues in SAP involving purchase orders, warehouse receiving, supplier invoices, etc.Sales/Operations Support / Vendor Liaison; connect vendors with our personnel and vice versa for various needs, such as product authorization letters for bids, territory rep contact information, etc.; meet with top vendors quarterly or as needed to ensure communication lines remain open

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):

High school diploma or equivalentMinimum of five (5) years of experience in a strategic sourcing role in complex organizationsMinimum of eight (8) years of experience in a procurement role with multiple customersMinimum of five (5) years of experience in a fleet role in complex organizationsMinimum of three (3) years of experience in a logistics role.Experience working with SAP and best-of-class logistics and management systemsDemonstrated experience in vendor contract and partnering agreement negotiationsChange management experience with the ability to successfully manage complexity and multiple prioritiesRelationship-management skills and ability to influence both internally and externallyExcellent analytical, problem-solving skills, and critical thinking skillsAbility to work through complex issues and make decisions quickly; proficient at analyzing and leveraging historical data and market intelligence to drive strategic shiftsCapable of managing multiple simultaneous initiatives, shifting competing priorities, and meeting deadlinesExcellent organizational skills, teamwork, leadership development, and lean/problem solving capabilitiesArticulate oral and written communicator with the ability to collaborate effectivelyExpert-level proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and Project

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Logistics, Supply ChainSix Sigma certificationCertified Professional in Supply Chain Management (CPSM) certification, Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) certification, or equivalent thereofWorking knowledge of fire/life safety, audio/visual and telecommunications marketplaces
