Senior Manager, Real Estate Strategy

The Role

As part of the Real Estate Strategy Team, you will work across functions in Real Estate and Workforce Planning to develop short-term and long-term strategy that supports Fidelity's business and achieves Real Estate objectives.  This includes analysis and recommendations around multi-year capital investment, leasing & transaction decisions, portfolio optimization, and critical cross-portfolio initiatives.  You will contribute to the end-to-end planning process to build the 5-year capital investment plan through partnership with leaders across Real Estate and the business.  This high impact role will also drive the development of executive-level materials to summarize current state, options, and key decision points, clearly articulating the 'so what' and strategic rationale that connects to the broader Real Estate mission.  The senior manager will bring structured problem-solving and storytelling ability to the team and have a keen interest in how Fidelity optimizes its physical footprint and the onsite associate experience.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring Bachelor’s degree requiredAt minimum 4 years of experience in management consulting (strongly preferred), strategy and planning, business development, or related fieldsExpert proficiency in PowerPoint and strong proficiency in ExcelAbility to develop compelling, logically structured presentations and narratives to facilitate decision-making for executive-level audiencesProven track record of performing detailed analyses and building frameworks to organize information, break down problems, and frame opportunitiesAbility to influence decision-making through written and verbal communications grounded in data and insightsConfidence in communication and strong interpersonal and relationship building skills to engage stakeholders at all levels of the organizationExcellent critical thinking and project management skillsComfort and success working in a fast-paced culture with high visibility and many concurrent prioritiesAbility to apply knowledge of Real Estate functions, properties, and processes to provide insight to complex strategic challengesAttention to detail and accuracy, with outstanding work quality

Other RequirementsAbility to be onsite at Fidelity locations a minimum of 50% of the timeAbility to travel up to 10% of the time
