SUMMARY

The Senior Manager Professional Services will lead the professional services team and provide value by ensuring the team provides consistency in the development of the building management plan and in supporting project delivery services. They will be responsible for ensuring that all technical requirements meet the needs of PSPC and reinforce the role of the knowledgeable buyer. They will play an essential role in managing the service team implementation of the ongoing projects and ensuring all client projects are staffed, get delivered on time, within budget, and with the highest client satisfaction.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Plan and oversee the execution of strategies developed by the National Director in collaboration with PSPC.  Manage and provide support to the professional services team including architects and mechanical, electrical and structural engineers. The professional services team provides technical support in the development of the building management plan, the creation of project requirements and the review of Investment Analysis Reports.      Plan and coordinate with BGIS leaders across the portfolio including directors and senior managers in the fields of energy, health and safety, environment, maintenance and operations, project management, commissioning etc. Meet and coordinate with PSPC representatives to standardize project technical requirements.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

MBA plus 5-7 years related experience Demonstrated leadership skills with senior level professional team members Strong understanding of the engineering environment in mechanical sector; Ability to develop strong customer relationship skills  Very strong communication and interpersonal skills in both official languages considered an asset; Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment. Strong project management, organizational management and people management skills   Ability to work on several projects concurrently and lead a team; Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team environment; Able to monitor costs, including control of project schedules; Excellent communication skills in both official languages considered an asset; Proficient with MS Office suite; Maintain effective working relationships with clients, staff, and other employees; Strong organization skills. Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills; Highly meticulous nature, strong attention to detail;
