Role and Responsibilities

Reporting to the VP, Product Marketing for Digital Appliance, this Senior Manager level role will be responsible for managing the overall go-to-market strategy and P&L management for Samsung branded Vacuum products in the US market.

Key targets and measurements include:

Sales

Profit

Market Share

Forecast accuracy

Aged inventory

Role & Responsibilities Include:

Leads the execution of an end-to-end product marketing strategy for Vacuum and new segments

Formulate and direct the go-to-market strategy in conjunction with cross-functional partners in Demand Generation and Sales

Overall product strategy and management of the product life cycle

Lead new product innovation roadmaps in partnership with global HQ

Product introductions and model launches in conjunction with the Sales team

Category expert in terms of industry and technology trends, and competitive benchmarking

Develop customer-specific strategies, programs and pricing

Sales forecasting and inventory management

Skills and Qualifications

Skills and Qualification Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) required, MBA preferred and a minimum of 10+ years of related job experience at the Manager or Senior Manager level in a similar Product Marketing role required

Previous retail channel management and people management experience required

Strong analytical and financial skills required (P&L responsibility)

Performs work under time schedules and stress which are normally periodic or cyclical, including time sensitive deadlines, intellectual challenge, some language barriers, and project management deadlines

Domestic travel required up to 15% to visit retailer locations for meetings etc.

The ability to work in a fast paced environment where pivoting to meet changing priorities is key to success in the role

Advanced PowerPoint & Excel skills (pivot tables, V look ups) required

Consistently demonstrates a commitment to policies and procedures, including but not limited to, attendance, confidentiality, conflict of interest, and ethical responsibilities
