Assures 100% availability of the right products and services at the best cost by directing daily team activities in select categories. Assigns work, manages the sourcing process, oversees, and delivers on the needs of the marketing and development calendars, establishes goals and objectives and is accountable for the performance of the team in meeting the needs of the business. Works closely with the Sr. Director, Procurement and Sr. Vice President (“SVP”) , Procurement to establish strategic initiatives related to sourcing, goals and objectives for the purchasing function, and tactics designed to achieve the company’s purchasing objectives. Directs the coordination of efforts needed to provide high value purchasing services to cross-functional stakeholders. Works closely with the supplier community to ensure Inspire has a competitive supply chain that meets the volume needs of the business, while providing access to innovation resources, and ensures costs are competitive for our segment. Maintains a high-performance team to meet the needs of the business.
This position sits onsite at our Atlanta Support Center 80% of the week.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Enables brands to efficiently and effectively maximize the value they receive from suppliers
Ensures all legal documents are in place for each supplier, including NDA, Master Supplier Agreement, and Product AgreementsLeads and conducts the RFP process, bid analysis and review, contract negotiations, and blanket purchase agreement creationDevelop/execute purchasing strategies for products including monitoring macro trends in supplier base, implementing plans to react, and developing/executing purchasing strategies for productsIdentify and realize cost-savings and cost-reduction opportunities
Develop ideas for cost savings initiatives within owned categoriesEvaluate potential margin initiatives, document with business case and champion change in support of department/company initiativesMinimizes risk of supply disruption
Identifies supply and supplier issues. Analyzes information to assess root cause, improvement opportunities, and associated riskDevelops solutions and gains consensus to resolve supply issuesBuilds strategic relationship

EDUCATION & EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS
