Our clients represent Risk, Finance, HR, CAO, Audit, Legal, Compliance, Financial Crime, Capital Markets, Personal and Commercial Banking and Wealth Management. We also lead the development of digital tools and platforms to enhance collaboration.

As a Sr Manager of Portfolio Planning with RBC Compliance Technology, you will join a team that embraces diversity for innovation and growth. You will be responsible for managing a small team located across 3 hubs in Canada to support the portfolio programs and BAU delivery. The role reports to the Sr. Director of Compliance Technology and is accountable for portfolio financial tracking, vendor and contingent workforce tracking and reporting as well as integration of portfolio financials to the Global Functions planning team.

What will you do?

Manage a team of 3-5 PCOs, financial analysts and business intelligence developers

Maintain a view the project portfolio financials.

Maintain and track resources in the portfolio

Assist in the development of presentations and create/distribute project information to relevant parties.

Work with project managers to ensure all required project artefacts/documentation is completed and captured.

Ability to seek new ways to improve processes.

Demonstrated ability in written and oral communication skills along with strong presentation skills.

Strong organizational, project management and time management capabilities.

What do you need to succeed?

Must have:

Bachelor’s degree in finance or similar study

7+ years of experience managing all aspects of projects/financials including initiative tracking, reporting, and managing/monitoring plans

Expert in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Proficiency in Excel, JIRA, Confluence and SharePoint

Demonstrated strategic conceptualization, analytical and planning skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.

Nice-to-have:

Experience working for a Financial institution

Exposure or experience with Planview

Finance or Accounting background
