About the Role:

CHANEL Finance is looking for a Senior Manager, Payroll employee to help lead our payroll function. Industry expertise and passion will allow this employee to make a positive impact on the brand and its employees. Collaboration between vendors, IT and Total Rewards will ensure our payroll function operates excellently.

Position Responsibilities:

Implementation of, maintaining, and reviewing payroll processing systemsManage weekly payroll process; Review and manage payroll preparation to ensure accurate and timely processing.Compliance with Federal, State and local payroll wage and hour lawsManaging the timely processing of payroll updates (new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates.)Weekly review, reconciliation & recording of post payroll transactions; General ledger posting etc.Completing audits as necessary; providing records and documentation to auditors.Being the In-House Expert on payroll processing; recommending software, systems and procedure updates as necessaryManage weekly, quarterly and year-end payroll tax reconciliations and reportingManaging interfaces between various systemsProcess review with Total Rewards and/or IT for general understanding and/or process efficiencyLead continuous best practices, and quality improvementAct as Liaison between various payroll vendors

You Are Energized By:

Extensive knowledge of the payroll function including preparation, balancing, internal control, general ledger and payroll taxes.Knowledgeable of payroll security administrationAdvanced proficiency with UKG PRO and PROWFMExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong supervisory and leadership skills.Proficient with ExcelProficient with UKGPRO or other Business Intelligence reportingFamiliarity of global mobility payroll

Position Requirements:

Minimum 7 years of Payroll experienceUKG PRO and PROWFM ExpertiseBachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or related fieldFamiliarity with WorkdayThis position is considered partially remote and requires a minimum of three days in-person office presence in our Piscataway, NJ office

Compensation:

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $87,500 to $140,000. Base salary is one component of the total compensation for this position. Other forms of variable pay [may/will] be offered for this position. Other components [may/will] include bonus potential, benefits, and/or perks.
