About the Role
As The Senior Manager, North American Manufacturing & Distribution you will oversee timely, cost-effective print production, manage vendors, drive process improvement, and support strategic initiatives. You will lead a team to ensure high-quality print materials. You will oversee print manufacturing and distribution process, manage resources, and drive efficiency to meet publication deadlines. Your role is crucial in maintaining print quality standards and delivering impactful print content.
 

Responsibilities

Managing production forecast for all vendors printing LexisNexis work

Leading print-related change management and process improvement initiatives

Collaborating with Global Procurement to ensure vendor SLAs are met and negotiating new agreements

Developing policies, training, and long-term planning for resource allocation

Forecasting and managing manufacturing and distribution budget

Maintaining production planning system and driving process improvement activities

Enabling visibility into cost, productivity, quality, and operational effectiveness for all supported print content

Processing invoices for payment


Requirements

Display a solid background with a Bachelor's and/or significant expertise in overseeing the national outsourcing of print product production for an extended period

Be able to lead and successfully deliver major change initiatives

Demonstrate extensive prior experience in people and project management, with a proven track record of success

Be skilled in strategic thinking and implementation

Be capable of influencing staff at all levels and executing change management

Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access is a plus; familiarity with MS Power Apps is advantageous

Have knowledge of Editorial and Operations publishing processes
