This position will serve as the China MarTech data SME/lead to drive business insights and empower MarTech advancement as well as Next Best Action as part of our personalization ambition.  

\n

What will I be doing? Position Details (bullet points)  

\n

As the Senior Manager, MarTech data and business analysis in the region, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

\n

·       Define MarTech (Local Customer Data Warehouse and CDP) data requirements and strategy, with profound knowledge of Hilton's data systems and market/ecosystem data abilities. Work closely with technology teams on data scoping, ingestion/output.

\n

·       Investigate the customer data available to understand current constraints, pitfalls and opportunities it provides our customer experience. Also validate data and oversee overall data cleanness and quality before/during/after a use case is developed with close partnership with Hilton’s various data and architecture teams.

\n

·       Lead and conduct China MarTech business analysis, from market/competitor scan, risk analytics, CDP/MA needs analysis, to post MarTech campaign/activation evaluation, as well as incrementality driver identification to input into MarTech model enhancement.

\n

·       Run explorative analytics as needed to support and inform business decisions.

\n

·       Perform regular & adhoc business analysis and reporting, tailored to MarTech use cases or related marketing / loyalty cases.

\n

·       Work as the owner and key end user of the self-service analytics modules in CDP/MA products, responsible for commercial & revenue data analysis for day to day MarTech use case activation and operation, business KPI dashboard/reporting.

\n

·       Drive A/B testing with internal and external teams across media, digital channels, marketing and creative relative to refine and optimize CDP/MA use cases based on data performance and customer feedback.

\n

·       Lead business data demand intakes as relevant on behalf of China commercial team and liaise with global /local stakeholders to deliver insights. Partner closely with global/local CRM on Master Data Management workstream, standing up a true Customer Profile Master to serve as the source of truth and foundational identity resolution for MarTech systems.

\n

·       Work closely with global M&L analytics team for data driven commercial performance narratives.

\n

·       Work with technical / digital analytics teams to set up and optimize data tracking, and trouble shoot data issues when abnormal business data/ missing value / outliers are identified.

·       Minimum Education: Master Degree  in data / BA or related fields

\n

·       Minimum Years of Experience: 3-5 years of working experiences data; Project leadership in BI / BA / CDP data analysis would be a large plus. Experiences in consulting firm / customer research field would be a plus.

\n

·       Minimum Years of Management Experience:   N/A 

\n\n

·       Any Licenses or Certificates Required: N/A

\n

·       Additional Requirements (i.e. % of travel time, etc.): infrequent travel might be needed occasionally to US/UK

\n

a.       Critical thinking and strong analytical skills with the ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weakness of alternative and differentiated solutions, conclusions, and creative approaches

b.       Established track record with outstanding ability to translate data needs into business insights based on strong business acumen

\n

c.        Deep understanding of the functional purpose, integrations, hardware, software of the supported MarTech suite of products at Hilton and more broadly

\n

d.       Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to explain complex issues in a clear and concise manner, and to engage senior audiences when presenting these issues broadly

\n

e.       Professional language skills in written and verbal English with day to day partnership with international teams. Years’ experiences in an MNC would be a plus.

\n

f.         Collaborates effectively and forms positive partnerships with team members in groups and levels across a matrixed organization

\n

g.       Multi-tasker, who handles multiple projects and priorities with a cool head under time constraints to effectively balance concurrent demands

\n

h.       Committed self-starters and accountable individual, who takes initiative in implementing goals, meeting deadlines, and recommending improvements

i.         Extensive experience with Vendor relationship management
