a day in the life: what you’ll do
The Global Sports Marketing team is responsible for the creation and execution of the Global Sports Marketing strategy, which is comprised of athletes, city and store ambassador programs. We work highly cross-functional with regional and business partner to help build lululemon’s position as a leader in the sports marketing space and drive overall brand awareness.
As the Senior Manager, Global Sports Marketing (Local Ambassadors) at lululemon, you will play a pivotal role in driving the Global Sports Marketing strategy for the Local Ambassador Programs around the world. You will be responsible for overseeing a team that manages two Ambassador programs focused on local community marketing efforts. You'll drive the creation of a robust global strategy adaptable to regional teams across North America, EMEA, China, and APAC, ensuring it effectively integrates with the company's broader business strategy. The team adapts programs as the business evolves and ensures everything is tied to lululemon’s strategic imperatives and diversity and inclusion principles.
Create and manage and drive the execution of the Global Sports Marketing strategy for the Local Ambassador Program arm of lululemon’s Ambassador team. Forge partnerships with internal teams, including Brand, Product, Strategy, and Regional Markets, to cultivate a competitive ambassador program that amplifies community marketing efforts globally. Collaborate closely with the Operations team to assess program and ambassador performance, utilizing insights to refine strategies and support localized initiatives. Provide leadership to a team tasked with training regional sports marketing leads, empowering them to effectively execute localized Community Marketing via their Ambassador programs. This involves overseeing program development, operational logistics, marketing activations, issue management, and ambassador engagement strategies. Develop and train in market leaders globally to be powerful relationship managers and strategic brand developers, ensuring a consistent approach to sports marketing and ambassadors at a local level. Deliver a globally inclusive program that retains & attracts strategic relationships. Understand industry trends to enable the betterment and evolution of our approach. Propose, track, and manage various budgets effectively to support the growth and sustainability of ambassador programs. Foster cross functional relationships to integrate sports marketing seamlessly into all guest-facing aspects of our business. qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business management, marketing, or strategy 8+ years experience within global sports marketing or community roles and keen understanding of trends as they relate to a global brand. 5+ years of global operations and project management experience. Proven experience as an inclusive leader of a team and can produce results through others with or without direct reporting lines. Has a proven ability to drive results through highly cross functional project teams. In depth understanding of nuances of global markets and capacity to manage multiple cross-functional partnerships, supported by strong facilitation and training skillset.

Compensation and Benefits Package lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $134, 100 - $176,000 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
