Apple seeks a Sr. Manager, International Awards for Apple’s original video subscription service, Apple TV+, featuring original shows, movies and documentaries from the world’s most creative storytellers. The role will oversee international awards publicity and engagement, across feature films, television series and children’s programming for the Worldwide Video team, collaborating with journalists and organizations outside the U.S.DescriptionDescriptionThis role will strategize, executing and direct international awards campaigns across narrative features, documentary films, scripted and unscripted television series and children’s programming. The candidate will create, shape and direct awards publicity campaigns, and set global PR strategy, through multiple earned media channels outside the U.S. The publicity professional will play a critical role in communicating with producers, talent, representatives and production company partners during production up to and beyond launch and throughout awards seasons. The position will focus on creating cultural moments and delivering strategic, meaningful awards publicity campaigns. Draft and deliver effective public relations plans. Collaborate with showrunners, filmmakers, talent and internal teams to secure coverage in a wide range of media. Oversee budgets and awards and publicity professionals.Minimum QualificationsMinimum QualificationsThe ideal candidate will have a minimum of 15+ years of experience in entertainment publicity and have strong relationships with domestic/international journalists and talent/producer representativesMinimum of 10 years in a leadership position in a publicity department or at a PR agency, overseeing awards publicity and strategyPrevious experience executing successful awards PR programs for television/filmEffectively lead and be a part of the larger publicity team.
