Senior Manager, Internal Controls Transformation
Job Description

Role Overview:

The role requires acting as a key business partner to our internal and external stakeholders for our European market. The Internal Controls Senior Manager will understand the key business and compliance matters in the zone, developing a risk point of view, determining a course of action to address risks, and working with various level of management for accomplishing the course of actions. This is a leadership position that involves building a compliance presence and communicating across the zone to drive control awareness and accountability.

You will be a key member of the Global Internal Controls team working in a team of talented individuals across the regions that are responsible for ensuring Kraft Heinz meets its business and IT compliance requirements.

Primary Responsibilities
 

Leadership

Strong communication and partnership skills to work with senior level leadership on a day-to-day basis Ability to be seen as the internal control’s leader in the market that various business leaders seek advice from. Strong critical thinking skills to examine various business and IT compliance related matters to assess impact and determining a proposed course of action. Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication, leadership, and management to influence a wide range of team members with varying levels of technical understanding. Demonstrate strong initiative, program/project management and interpersonal skills, sound decision-making, and intuitive thinking. Provide leadership, guidance and coaching to staff, and champion an environment encouraging employee participation, teamwork, and communication.

Operational

Partner closely with global Kraft Heinz business and IT leaders to evaluate business process transformation, automation, data, and digital risk. Understand critical risks in ongoing business processes and IT projects, assess, and advise partners on such risks. Partner on business and IT transformation projects to build out the plan for the transformation risk and controls. Partner and lead the team on automation/analytics governance program understanding the compliance needs and associate build out of programs. Provide risk and compliance expertise in emerging technology inclusive of areas such as cyber, artificial intelligence, robotics, cloud, machine learning, and any applicable third-party risk. Develop governance and risk frameworks including identification of applicable risks in the noted process, identify gaps, controls, and recommend action plans. Monitor management’s progress on recommended action plans. Provide support and expert advice to management during implementation of action plans and ad hoc compliance matters. Research and understand external reporting requirements for above noted areas. Develop deliverables for reporting to external communication to regulatory agencies.

Qualifications

A college or university degree in Business/ Information Technology/Computer Information Systems or related field. Wide experience in working with senior leadership teams for risk, controls, compliance matters including emerging risk areas. Good understanding of risk and compliance management with emphasis and experience in business process, transformation, automation, data, and digital risk areas. Experience in developing frameworks, assessing risk and controls, performing gap assessments, and developing recommendations. Experience in working with management on developing compliance programs and delivery of such programs. Experience in researching new and emerging compliance topics, understanding the associated requirements for company compliance. Experience in developing reporting/communication for external compliance reporting. Experience in development and delivery of presentations to senior level management. Experience in developing action written communications that may be leveraged for internal or external communication. Strong analytical, leadership, and organizational skills. Ability to adapt and react timely in a fast paced, changing, large, and dynamic work environment.
