Senior Manager, Industry and Solutions Partner SA, APJ Partner SA
AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.

AWS is seeking a Sr. Manager to lead our Industry & Solution Partner SA (PSA) team across APJ . This leader will be responsible for managing a team of Industry and Tech Domain Specialist PSAs Solution Architects across APJ who will work closely with AWSI, AGS and APJ APO team to drive the technical GTM.

The SA Leader is responsible for leading an existing team and hiring new PSAs with industry domain expertise, to assign the PSAs to customer projects, in close collaboration with the Industry & Solutions Business leader. The PSA Leader will ensure the growth of the SAs in the Industry Strategic Workloads (SWL) into 300 and 400 levels and will make a big impact through passion for coaching, growing, and partnering with technically skilled, Partner Solutions Architects.

The PSA Leader will develop the industry’s best cloud-based team of architects by coaching them on best practices, solution sales, presentation/speaking skills, and creating complex architectures, will collaborate with sales to drive revenue growth across a broad set of customers.


Key job responsibilities
- Work with peers and stakeholders in APJ APO, WW I&S CoE teams, AWSI and AGS to set up an operating model for Industry & Solution PSAs to build the required Partner capability, capacity and solutions required for APJ
- Work with WWSO and Service teams to have Voice of the APJ Partner represented in future product roadmaps and have their issues/challenges addressed
- Hire and develop bar raising specialist PSAs
- Work with peers and stakeholders to determine resource investment
- Build mechanisms to scale the team exponentially
- Set measurable goals, tracking and reporting progress for team members
- Track and report on Industry trends across APJ
- Establish relationships with senior level (CXO, Sr. Director, etc.) and Line of Business leaders on our Partners/their customer side.
