As a key business partner and Senior HR Manager to the Diagnostics Reagents Division, this role will act as consultant to the leadership team and be fully responsible for ensuring all aspects of HR are supported from both a strategic and execution standpoint.As a trusted partner you will provide advice and guidance on the people aspects of business decisions and ensure such decisions are aligned with company culture and practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of Human Resources policy and procedure across multiple sites, ensuring both strategy and execution of tactics are addressed
Counsel leaders around assessment, acquisition, and placement of diverse talent to deliver aggressive growth plans
Serve as an advocate and drive improvement to the employee experience, focused around company culture. Responsible for creating and maintain a positive employer-employee relationship. Drive a culture of responsiveness to employee feedback, questions and/or concerns.
Advise and coach managers to ensure they are equipped to effectively manage their employee populations
Drive employee relations practices necessary to promote a high level of employee morale and motivation. Influence and advice to managers to ensure compliance with all employment laws, company policies and procedures to ensure equitable treatment of employees.
Consult with business leaders to identify opportunities for organizational change; coach managers through planning and executing strategies to address these gaps
Manage the performance management, personal development planning, and employee relations processes
Maintain an accurate and up-to-date HR database and HR metrics for review of the business partners
Collaborate with other HR personnel globally to improve processes, share knowledge, and best practice
Perform additional duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience and 10 or more years of progressive relevant experience; or a Master’s degree in related field preferred
Minimum 5+ years of HR management experience is required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of local HR practices and principles, including applicable labor, pay, benefits, health, and safety laws and regulations
Ability to handle a high level of confidential information with sensitivity and discretion
Ability to plan and execute multiple complex projects over the short- and long-term
Ability to effectively communicate and influence thought at the senior leadership level
Ability to effectively coach, mentor, and manage direct report(s) and managers within the business unit
Ability to identify areas for process improvement and implement strategic changes
Ability to communicate professionally both verbally and in writing
Ability to solve complex problems and resolve conflict
