Senior Manager, Finance Transformation

Role Impact:

The Senior Manager, Finance Transformation will play a key role in shaping the direction of the finance function, driving the successful implementation of transformation initiatives, and positioning Finance as a data-centric, decision-driven team. This role offers high visibility across the organization, with opportunities to lead cross-functional teams, partner with internal and external stakeholders, and integrate cutting-edge technological solutions including robotic process automation, advanced data analytics and AI into Finance processes. Close collaboration with senior leadership is required to ensure alignment with broader business goals. You will be at the forefront of sustainable finance innovation, working with project teams to deliver measurable improvements in process optimization, capability building, and operational excellence while inspiring stakeholders to embrace change.

 

What you will deliver:

Project and Roadmap Management:

Lead project development from business case to initiation to closure Lead planning across teams to develop scope, allocate resources, develop schedules and manage budgets Work with a sponsor, sponsor delegate and stakeholders to develop and maintain work breakdown structure and to estimate the effort required for work packages; clear documentation of RACI, goals, scope, deliverables, required resources, budget, and schedule Coordinate resources through initiatives and conduct regular reviews to make sure that project delivery stays on track, and potential changes are managed Ensure stakeholders and initiative owners understand the interconnectivity of projects and relevant dependencies that may affect successful delivery Work with Technology Project Managers to manage timelines and keep projects on track, ensuring that linkages/interdependencies with other projects are identified, planned for and managed Lead meetings critical to the progress of the Finance initiatives; track and report on relevant milestones Responsible for managing multiple, simultaneous projects autonomously, providing project/ process /change management and oversight during all project phases through to monitoring adoption goals/metrics

Process Change & Change Management:

Responsible for ensuring process owners and managers are identified and engaged in process transformation activities and applying governance tools and capabilities Coach and advise process owners to examine business processes, evaluating them within the context of transformation goals and proposing changes or enhancements to help achieve those goals Support identifying and validating operating needs for KPIs that enable monitoring of business process performance Manage the process change life cycle through change initiatives

 

What your strengths are:

Must have Finance transformation planning, management and implementation experience via working with teams to focus on driving operational results through behavioural changes Ability to assess stakeholder impacts and support management of change plans Exceptional written and visual communication skills, with an emphasis on the ability to create clear and concise presentations using Google slides and Microsoft PowerPoint Project management experience using Asana preferred

 

What you need to succeed:

University Degree in a related field, including Finance & Accounting, Engineering Successful track record and 8+ years in leading process improvement and change initiatives Experience and knowledge of process improvement mapping, project management and change management principles and methodologies preferred Exceptional stakeholder management and relationship-building skills; ability to cultivate and maintain effective working relationships at all levels of the organization Strong facilitation, presentation and coaching skills with the ability to ask questions and engage others in directed discussions Strong organizing and project management skills Ability to rapidly pivot between priorities in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating adaptability and resilience Experience and knowledge with applying Agile and iterative project management methodologies
